Online Marketing helping SME’s survive the crunch
Online Marketing and the internet are providing a vital lifeline to UK based small businesses in fighting the recession according to new research.
45% of small businesses surveyed by Easynet Connect believe that online marketing will play an important part in not only surviving the recession but actually prospering! One in five companies believed that it will be the most important strategy in helping beat the recession.
The report also highlighted that 74% of small businesses will use the web to grow the company profile with 52% claiming that online marketing would put them on a level playing field with bigger companies.
Provoke’s clients are already reaping the benefits and seeing an increase in customers and sales as a direct result to their online marketing strategy. Clients are using various routes to market including email marketing, search engine optimisation and pay per click to stay ahead of the competition and grow during this recession. The survey also revealed that when it comes to creating new leads and opportunities 46% of SME’s are looking to create new products and services on the web and over 58% are looking to use the web to expand into new markets both in the UK and overseas.
